Bromadiolone Rodenticide 0.005% Block Bait Rat Poison

Bromadiolone Rodenticide, also known as "rodent poison," is a non-specific chemical substance designed to eliminate rodents (mice and rats). Bromadiolone possesses anticoagulant properties, serving as a potent anticoagulant and rodenticide. It functions as a gastrointestinal toxin. Like other similar remedial measures, it does not act immediately. When Bromadiolone enters the pest's body, it slows down the synthesis of prothrombin in the liver. Consequently, blood clotting decreases, blood vessel walls are damaged, and rodents die within 5 to 15 days.       Introduction to the Parameters

Mode of Action

Bromadiolone is a highly toxic rodenticide. It has good control effect on domestic rodents, agricultural, animal husbandry and forestry rodents, especially drug resistant rodents. The incubation period averaged 6-7 days. The effect is slow, and it is not easy to cause rat alarm. It has the characteristics of easy to kill all rats.

After consuming the rodenticide, rodents' bodies stop producing vitamin K, which is essential for producing clotting factors. Subsequently, extensive internal bleeding occurs upon blood vessel rupture, leading to the death of mice and rats. The process of Bromadiolone rodenticide permeating into the rodent's body is relatively slow, allowing rodents to leave the area where the toxic bait is applied.

In addition to affecting other mammals (including dogs, cats, or humans), many rodenticides also pose a secondary poisoning risk to animals that hunt rodents. Poisoning stations utilize rodenticides to prevent other non-target animals from accessing the bait. In case of accidental ingestion, the antidote is vitamin K1.

Advantages of Bromadiolone 0.005% rodenticide

High efficiency in eradicating rodents: Bromadiolone 0.005% demonstrates remarkable effectiveness in controlling rodent populations, encompassing both rats and mice. Potency: Even at low concentrations, such as bromadiolone 0.005%, its potency remains intact, ensuring efficient pest management. Versatility: Bromadiolone can be applied indoors as well as outdoors, offering versatility to address various pest control requirements. Delayed action: Bromadiolone exhibits a delayed toxic effect on rodents, allowing them to return to their nests before succumbing to the poison. This characteristic facilitates secondary poisoning, wherein one poisoned rodent can inadvertently affect others within its colony. Low risk to non-target species: While toxic to rodents, bromadiolone poses relatively minimal risk to non-target species when used appropriately. In cases of accidental ingestion, antidotes such as vitamin K1 can be administered. Suitable for both amateur enthusiasts and professionals: Available in diverse formulations such as bait blocks, pellets, and liquid formulations, it offers flexibility in application methods. Long-lasting effectiveness: Bromadiolone provides extended protection against rodent infestations due to its prolonged duration of action.
