Lead CM bans the sale of 9 pesticides to protect the quality of rice crops


The official statement stated that the ban aims to protect the quality of rice, which is essential for rice exports and the price of remuneration in the international market.
“The Chief Minister who also owns an agricultural investment portfolio has issued an order to immediately issue a ban under Article 27 of the Pesticides Act of 1968, prohibiting the use of acephate, triazophos, thiamethoxam, carbendazim and tricyclic Azole, buprofen, furan furan, proprazole and thioformate.” The statement said.
According to the ban, the sale, storage, distribution and use of these nine pesticides on rice crops are prohibited.
