    Ametryn, also known as Ametryn, is a new type of herbicide obtained by chemical modification of Ametryn, a triazine compound. English name: Ametryn, molecular formula: C9H17N5, chemical name: N-2-ethylamino-N-4-isopropylamino-6-methylthio-1,3,5-triazine, molecular weight: 227.33. The technical product is colorless solid and the pure product is colorless crystal. Melting point: 84 º C-85 ºC, solubility in water: 185 mg/L (p H=7, 20 °C), density: 1.15 g/cm3, boiling point: 396.4 °C, flash point: 193.5 °C, soluble in organic solvents. Action mechanism

    Ametryn is a kind of mestriazobenzene selective endothermic conducting herbicide obtained by chemical modification of Ametryn. It is a typical inhibitor of photosynthesis with rapid hericidal action. By inhibiting the electron transfer in photosynthesis of sensitive plants, nitrite accumulation in leaves leads to plant injury and death, and its selectivity is related to differences in plant ecological and biochemical reactions.

Function characteristics

    It can be adsorbed by 0-5 cm soil to form a layer of medicine, so that the weeds can contact the medicine when they sprout from the soil. It has the best control effect on the newly germinated weeds. At low concentration, Ametryn can promote plant growth, that is, stimulate the growth of young buds and roots, promote the increase of leaf area, stem thickening, etc; At high concentration, it has a strong inhibitory effect on plants. Ametryn is widely used in sugarcane, citrus, corn, soybean, potato, pea and carrot fields to control annual weeds. At high doses, it can control some perennial weeds and aquatic weeds, which is widely used.

Registration

    According to the query of China Pesticide Information Network, as of January 14, 2022, there were 129 valid certificates registered for Ametryn in China, including 9 original drugs, 34 single agents and 86 compound agents. At present, the market of Ametryn is mainly based on wettable powder, with 23 dispersible powder in a single dose, accounting for 67.6%. Other dosage forms are water dispersible granules and suspensions, with 5 and 6 valid registration certificates respectively; There are 82 wettable powders in the compound, accounting for 95%.

Mixable active ingredients

    At present, the post-sprout herbicides in sugarcane fields are mainly sodium dichloromethane (amine) salt, Ametryn, Ametryn, diazuron, glyphosate and their mixtures. However, these herbicides have been used in sugarcane area for more than 20 years. Because of the obvious resistance of weeds to these herbicides, the occurrence of weeds is becoming more and more serious, even causing disasters. Mixing herbicides can delay the resistance. Summarize the current domestic research on the mixture of Ametryn, and list some details as follows:

    Ametryn · acetochlor: 40% acetochlor ametryn is used for pre seedling weeding in summer maize fields after sowing, which has ideal control effect. The control effect is significantly better than that of single agent. The agent can be popularized in production. It is recommended that the amount of 667 m2 be 250-300 ml plus 50 kg of water. After sowing, the ground before seedling should be spray. When spraying, the soil surface should be leveled, the soil should be wet, and the spraying should be even.

    Ametryn and chlorpyrisulfuron: the combination of Ametryn and chlorpyrisulfuron in the range of (16-25): 1 showed obvious synergistic effect. After determining that the total content of the preparation is 30%, the content of chlorpyrisulfuron+Ametryn=1.5%+28.5% is more appropriate.

    2 Methyl · Ametryn: 48% sodium dichloromethane · Ametryn WP has good control effect on weeds in sugarcane field. Compared with 56% sodium dichloromethane WP and 80% Ametryn WP, 48% sodium dichloromethane and Ametryn WP broadened the herbicide spectrum and improved the control effect. The overall control effect is good and safe for sugarcane.

    Nitrosachlor · Ametryn: The appropriate promotion dosage of 75% Nitrosachlor · Ametryn wettable powder is 562.50-675.00 g a.i./hm2, which can effectively control monocotyledonous, dicotyledonous and broad-leaved weeds in sugarcane fields and is safe for the growth of sugarcane plants.

    Ethoxy · Ametryn: Ethoxyflufen is a diphenyl ether herbicide, which is mainly used for soil treatment before seedling. It has high control effect on annual broadleaf grass, sedge and grass, among which the control effect on broadleaf grass is higher than that of grass. It is safe for apple trees to control the annual weeds in apple orchard with acetochlor · Ametryn (38% suspension agent), and the best dosage is 1140~1425 g/hm2.
